Rain, hail or shine, Goodstart Ambassadors, Rhianna Maree-Lewis and Tyler Duncan are always on the fairways and in the gym with beaming smiles. Both have training and practice schedules that would shame us all, and so it came as no surprise when we received news that both were selected to represent their state as members of the 2017 Golf Queensland Junior Team.
Delighted as we were with this news, it just kept getting better with both of our rising stars selected to play the 2017 Curro South African Juniors International (SAJI) at Durbanville Golf Club from 7 to 9 March. The 148-strong field will feature 79 of South Africa’s most talented juniors, while 69 players representing 17 countries make up the balance of the field. The foreign entries include Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, Namibia, The Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Zambia, Zimbabwe, as well as Australia.
Notwithstanding the honour of playing for your State at a National level, selection to represent your country on an International stage is an exceptional achievement and milestone in your careers. Your selection is recognition, it reflects not only talent and commitment but also a strong belief by those around you.
