Kirsty played her final tournament round for the year at the private Nanea Golf Club in Kailua Kona, Hawaii which is home to one of the top-rated and finest championship courses in the Hawaiian Islands.

The first days play entailed playing 36 holes. The players battled their rounds under very tough weather conditions, winds gusting at 60/70 Km/Hr. Kirsty carded rounds of 75 and 76, which had her sitting tie for 21st, at 5 over.

The third round saw Kirsty record her first collegiate sub-70 round with a 4-under 69. This gave Kirsty her third straight top 10 performance and finished the tournament tied 9th with a 1-over 220. Her 69 tied for the second-best round of the day and third-best overall in the tournament. Kirsty is now ranked 53rd in the country.

2016 has been a momentous golfing year for you in both Australia and the United States. Come mid December it will be fabulous having you back home in Australia for a few months. After a little rest we’ll no doubt see you competing in tournaments here before jetting back to Colorado to start the Spring season.
