As a major event on the Australian amateur golfing calendar,” The Riversdale Cup” again showcased golf at its very best. A record field of Australian and International golfer’s competing in the 2017 event should see some low scoring for those who master Melbourne’s often blustery and changing conditions.

The Riversdale Cup is an elusive trophy for many and in boasting such a rich history of prior winners, was reason enough for Goodstart Ambassador, Doug Klein from Queensland to line up and compete for this much sought after title. In sharing the lead after round one with a very solid 4 under par, Doug went on to record +1, even and even to finish the 4-round tournament with a credible 3 under par, in 20th position.

While we have no doubt rising star Doug Klein will soon make his mark, eventual winner Dylan Perry firing an amazing 15 under par, showcasing Australian Golf is alive and thriving.
